In Mid-March, the Mid-America Freight Coalition, the Institute for Trade and Transportation Studies, and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet combined forces to co-host the MAFC/ITTS/KYC Joint Freight Annual Freight Meeting. At the recently concluded MAFC Annual Meeting, held in Louisville, Kentucky, the conference attendees toured Jeff Boat and were able to watch the launching of a new barge. Both Mark Locker (Ohio DOT) and Ernie Perry (MAFC) captured the launch on video.
