MAFC 33: Construction Impacts on Multistate Freight and OSOW Corridors, is now available.

Alex Ryan

The Construction Impacts report is now available and examines the potential impact of increased work zone numbers on CMV crashes in work zones. Recommendations from the project include expanding the Work Zone Data Exchange and supporting regionalization of the tool; creating a multistate freight corridor work zone group to address multiple work zones on a single corridor across multiple states; and creating an annual MAASTO peer exchange specifically to address CMV work zone issues. The project also provides a review of work zone best practices and a tool to map work zones on a multi-state corridor-level. Check out the report here.
