Norfolk Southern’s (NS) Louisville Intermodal Terminal (APK) is one of three intermodal terminals in Kentucky. The other Louisville intermodal terminal is Buechel, 2.5 miles away. The Louisville Appliance Park facility caters to General Electric’s appliance manufacturing complex. The capacity of this terminal is approximately 55,000 lifts per year.

According to the 2013 National Transportation Atlas Database, the facility is located off the Louisville Subdivision.

Appliance Park can be accessed by I-264 as well as I-65. The intermodal terminal lies outside of the I-65 corridor (3.5 miles).
