CSX Bedford Park (BPA) is one of two CSX intermodal terminals in Chicago. The other facility is the CSX 59th Street Intermodal Terminal. BPA is the largest intermodal facility in CSX’s network at 300 acres. The facility opened in 1984 but has been upgraded with modern technology. The yard retains storage capacity for 6,000 53-foot wheeled containers and 5,000 stacked containers.
UPS is BPA’s main customer. Bedford Park is located south of Midway Airport.
