Norfolk Southern\u2019s (NS) Calumet Intermodal Terminal (CAL) is a small terminal located in Calumet, IL near the Lake Calumet waterway. This terminal is one of four NS intermodal terminals in Chicago. The others are NS Chicago (Landers Yard), 47th\u00a0Street, and 63rd\u00a0Street. It is sited near I-94 and within the I-90 and I-57 corridors.<\/p>\n

According to Illinois DOT<\/a>, the NS Nickel Plate Main Line (Chicago District) runs through the terminal and there is trackage that runs to the Port of Chicago docks on the Lake Calumet waterway. NS\u2019s Triple Crown Service that uses RoadRailers\u00ae <\/strong>is available at this location.<\/p>\n
