The other terminals are: NS Chicago (Landers Yard), Calumet, and 63rd\u00a0Street.<\/p>\n<p>C47 has a capacity of 700,000 lifts per year. According to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rita.dot.gov\/bts\/sites\/rita.dot.gov.bts\/files\/publications\/national_transportation_atlas_database\/2013\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2013 National Transportation Atlas Database<\/a>, this terminal is located on the NS Chicago Line Subdivision. Amtrak has trackage rights over this line.<\/p>\n<p>Norfolk Southern plans to expand the intermodal terminal by 84 acres or 57 percent. The expansion entails twenty city blocks in an area bounded by Garfield Boulevard, 61st\u00a0Street, Wallace Street, and Stewart Avenue. The area would be south of Garfield on the accompanying map. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sustainableenglewood.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Englewood community<\/a> efforts to improve community spaces, industrial land use buffers, and air quality were part of the negotiations.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/midamericafreight.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/access-ns-47th.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4881\" title=\"access-ns-47th\" src=\"http:\/\/midamericafreight.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/access-ns-47th.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"699\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Intermodal Connectors<\/h2>\n<p>There are a number of intermodal connectors in the vicinity of the 47th\u00a0Street terminal.
