IAIS also shares an intermodal facility in Council Bluffs\/Omaha with Union Pacific. BLU offers container-on-flat car (COFC) service only. The function of this terminals is that of a cross-town facility\u2014where a drayman or a railroad delivers a container from one railroad to another for continuance of the move.<\/p>\n<p>It is located within the I-57 and I-294 corridors.\u00a0 IAIS does not own the trackage to the facility. IAIS has trackage rights over a Metra, Chicago Rail Link, and a Canadian National line.<br \/>\nThere are no truck counts available from <a href=\"http:\/\/gis.dot.illinois.gov\/gist2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Illinois DOT<\/a> on either 119th St. or Prairie Street.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/midamericafreight.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/access-iais-blueisland.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4863\" title=\"access-iais-blueisland\" src=\"http:\/\/midamericafreight.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/access-iais-blueisland.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"699\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Intermodal Connectors<\/h2>\n<p>Currently 119<span style=\"font-size: 11px;\">th<\/span> Street from Division Street to I-57 is designated as an intermodal connector.
