CSX Louisville is one of four intermodal terminals in Kentucky and the only CSX intermodal terminal in Louisville. It is a COFC only terminal that is co-located with Osborn Yard, Louisville International Airport (SDF), and UPS. It is considered an emerging intermodal center.\u00a0 The facility opened in January 2012 to improve traffic flows to\/from the Northwest Ohio ICTF. It can also be considered an Inland Port for the amount of freight distribution that occurs at this facility.<\/p>\n

According to the 2013 National Transportation Atlas Database<\/a>, this terminal is located on the Louisville Terminal A Subdivision.<\/p>\n

There are no intermodal connectors at this time to this facility. However the roads surrounding the intermodal terminal are all designated truck routes according to the Kentuckiana Regional Planning & Development Agency (KIPDA)<\/a><\/p>\n
