It is a COFC only terminal that is co-located with Osborn Yard, Louisville International Airport (SDF), and UPS. It is considered an emerging intermodal center.\u00a0 The facility opened in January 2012 to improve traffic flows to\/from the Northwest Ohio ICTF. It can also be considered an Inland Port for the amount of freight distribution that occurs at this facility.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rita.dot.gov\/bts\/sites\/rita.dot.gov.bts\/files\/publications\/national_transportation_atlas_database\/2013\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2013 National Transportation Atlas Database<\/a>, this terminal is located on the Louisville Terminal A Subdivision.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/midamericafreight.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/access-csx-louisville.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4853\" title=\"access-csx-louisville\" src=\"http:\/\/midamericafreight.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/access-csx-louisville.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"698\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Intermodal Connectors<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>There are no intermodal connectors at this time to this facility. However the roads surrounding the intermodal terminal are all designated truck routes according to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kipda.org\/Transportation\/Maps.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kentuckiana Regional Planning &amp; Development Agency (KIPDA)<\/a><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Intermodal Lanes<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>This facility only handles container traffic (COFC) both domestic\/private container and international containers.
