It is one of three CSX intermodal terminals in Illinois, and one of four terminals serving the St. Louis metro area. Direct access to the intermodal terminal is via I-55\/I-70.<\/p>\n<p>This facility is part of CSX\u2019s Southeastern Corridor, which has gateways in Chicago, St. Louis, and Memphis. According to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rita.dot.gov\/bts\/sites\/rita.dot.gov.bts\/files\/publications\/national_transportation_atlas_database\/2013\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2013 National Transportation Atlas Database<\/a>, this intermodal terminal is located on the St. Louis Line Subdivision.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/midamericafreight.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/access-csx-eaststlouis.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4845\" title=\"access-csx-eaststlouis\" src=\"http:\/\/midamericafreight.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/access-csx-eaststlouis.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"697\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Intermodal Connectors<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Highway 203<\/li>\n<li>Collinsville Road<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Intermodal Lanes<\/h2>\n<p>This facility has the capability of handling TOFC-COFC.
