The other facility is the CSX 59th\u00a0Street Intermodal Terminal. BPA is the largest intermodal facility in CSX&#8217;s network at 300 acres. The facility opened in 1984 but has been upgraded with modern technology. The yard retains storage capacity for 6,000 53-foot wheeled containers and 5,000 stacked containers.<\/p>\n<p>UPS is BPA\u2019s main customer. Bedford Park is located south of Midway Airport.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/midamericafreight.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/access-csx-bedfordpk.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4828\" title=\"access-csx-bedfordpk\" src=\"http:\/\/midamericafreight.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/access-csx-bedfordpk.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"698\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Intermodal Connectors<\/h2>\n<p>In addition to the following intermodal connectors, Frontage Road along Harlem Avenue is a designated intermodal connector.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>71st\u00a0Street<\/li>\n<li>73rd\u00a0Street<\/li>\n<li>Sayre Avenue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Intermodal Lanes<\/h2>\n<p>This facility handles domestic\/private container (COFC) and trailer traffic (TOFC) as well as international containers (IC).
