Completed Freight Plans

Statewide Multimodal Freight Flows Study: The study was intended to “determine how goods move in the state” in order to better target freight corridor improvements and support Minnesota businesses, especially export-oriented industries. The study recommends expanding the capacity of all major freight modes along critical corridors, expanding intermodal facilities, developing public-private partnerships and expanding cooperation between different state agencies, and creating and improving comprehensive freight plans.
